Cannula Training Course

This Cannula Training Course is an advanced aesthetics course designed to teach practitioners how to safely and effectively use a blunt-tip cannula for dermal filler treatments. Compared to traditional needle techniques, cannulas offer a safer, more comfortable, and often more precise method of delivering filler, especially in delicate or high-risk areas.

This course provides students with the practical skills and confidence needed to expand their aesthetics practice or thrive in a busy clinic environment.​

This course is fully accredited. The first half will be theory-based, and the second will be practical with a mixture of demo models and live models for you to treat.

• Differences between cannulas and needles: Benefits, limitations, and when to use each

• Facial anatomy in relation to cannula pathways

• Cannula selection: Sizes, lengths, and types for different areas of the face

• Entry point techniques and filler placement

• Advanced treatment areas: Tear troughs, cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds, and more

• Safety and risk reduction: Minimising bruising, swelling, and vascular complications

• Client assessment and treatment planning

Entry requirements: 

We welcome both medics and non-medics onto our aesthetics training courses, with tailored options depending on your background and experience. Delegates must have successfully completed a foundation facial filler course prior to enrolling in this advanced training.​​

All Students Must:

• Be 18 years or older

• Have a strong interest in aesthetics and client care

• Be willing to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of treatment

Upon completion of the course, you'll receive everything you need to confidently launch your aesthetics practice right away. This includes your training certificate, an official CPD and ABT certificate outlining your professional development hours, and essential resources such as insurance guidance, access to a prescriber service, pharmacy registration details, and downloadable PDF templates for consultation, medical history, and consent forms. We ensure you're fully equipped and ready to begin treating clients from day one.
