This course is fully accredited. The first half will be theory-based, and the second will be practical with a mixture of demo models and live models for you to treat.

Course Content

The Advanced Tear Trough Dermal Filler Course is designed to deepen students' knowledge and expertise in the specialized field of dermal filler injections for the tear trough area. This course will equip you with the practical skills necessary to advance your professional development and establish yourself as a specialized aesthetics practitioner.

In addition to covering the technical aspects of tear trough dermal filler injections, the course will teach you how to tailor treatments for individual clients, ensuring realistic and desirable results that align with their unique needs.

• Anatomy of the peri-orbital region (under-eye area)

• Causes of tear trough hollows, dark circles, and volume loss

• Product selection: Choosing the right type of filler for safety and effectiveness

• Injection techniques: Cannula vs. needle methods, depth of injection, and product placement

• Client assessment & treatment planning: Identifying suitable candidates and setting realistic expectations

• Complication management: Minimising risks and handling adverse reactions with confidence

Entry requirements: 

We welcome both medics and non-medics onto our aesthetics training courses, with tailored options depending on your background and experience. Delegates must have successfully completed a foundation filler course prior to enrolling in this advanced training.​​

• Be 18 years or older

• Have a strong interest in aesthetics and client care

• Be willing to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of treatment

Upon completion of the course, you'll receive everything you need to launch your aesthetics practice right away confidently. This includes your training certificate, an official CPD and ABT certificate outlining your professional development hours, and essential resources such as insurance guidance, access to a prescriber service, pharmacy registration details, and downloadable PDF templates for consultation, medical history, and consent forms. We ensure you're fully equipped and ready to treat clients from day one.
