Beginners Basic Anti-Wrinkle Course

This course is an introductory training program designed to teach the foundational skills needed to safely and effectively administer antiwrinkle treatment for aesthetic purposes. This course provides students with the practical skills and confidence needed to launch their aesthetics practice or thrive in a busy clinic environment.

In addition to covering the fundamentals of anti-wrinkle injectables, the course focuses on restoring a more youthful appearance across the three key facial areas. Trainees will also learn how to collaborate effectively with clients to deliver results that are both desirable and realistically achievable.

This course is fully accredited. The first half will be theory-based, and second will be practical with a mixture of demo models and live models for you to treat.

The areas focused on in this course are the forehead, frown and crows feet.

• Understanding physiology

• Facial anatomy and muscle mapping

• Patient assessment and consultation skills

• Techniques for common treatment areas (e.g., forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet)

• Safety protocols and managing side effects or complications

• Legal and ethical considerations

Entry requirements: 

We welcome both medics and non-medics onto our aesthetics training courses, with tailored options depending on your background and experience.

• For Medics:

  • GMC, NMC, GDC, or HCPC registration (Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, and other healthcare professionals)

  • Proof of professional qualification

•  For Non-Medics:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) is recommended for advanced aesthetic training

  • Some courses may be open to beginners with no prior experience—please enquire for guidance on suitable options

  • Level 3 anatomy and physiology 

  • A good understanding of facial anatomy and client care is beneficial

 

All Students Must:

• Be 18 years or older

• Have a strong interest in aesthetics and client care

• Be willing to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of treatment

Upon completion of the course, you'll receive everything you need to confidently launch your aesthetics practice right away. This includes your training certificate, an official CPD and ABT certificate outlining your professional development hours, and essential resources such as insurance guidance, access to a prescriber service, pharmacy registration details, and downloadable PDF templates for consultation, medical history, and consent forms. We ensure you're fully equipped and ready to begin treating clients from day one.

Course Duration

Each of our training courses has a specific timescale, which can be found in the individual course descriptions. Most in-person training sessions run over 2–3 days, with additional online learning provided both before and after your practical training to support your development.
